Vietnam: Successful case study in a gas power plant

Description of customer:
One of the two large-scale BOT gas-fired power plants that contributes to more reliable base load and more diversification of energy sources in Vietnam.

Business issue:
For many years, the gas power plant management patiently sought for an effective plate type heat exchanger cleaning solution to improve their maintenance performance due to optimization and effectiveness.

• Nhat Duy Technology supplied the gas power plant user with both Xtra Cleaner and EnviroTech Green Cleaner as new solutions for oil-based varnish cleaning.
• User's technicians mixed EnviroTech Green Cleaner with water based on a ratio of 1:6 and immersed all the plates in that solution for 15 minutes.
• After that, soft clothes are used to clean the varnish manually.
• The varnish is removed very easily with no further cleaning steps required. The plates, after cleaning, are reported to be like new.

• Plates can be inspected for defects easily after cleaning.
• Very fast varnish cleaning, five times shorter than competitor's. 
• Easy to use.

As varnish cleaning time is reduced, customers can shorten maintenance schedule for machine uptime.
