Klüberbio AM 92-142 is an environmentally acceptable lubricant that combines excellent load-carrying capacity, good antiwear protection and strong anticorrosive properties to extend the life of your wires. It also exhibits excellent adhesion to metal surfaces and good water resistance reducing lubricant consumption and labour. Klüberbio AM 92-142 was developed and approved in close cooperation with the company Redaelli Tecna, a company of Teufelberger group, who recommends Klüberbio AM 92-142 for initial and relubrication of their own steel wire ropes.
Klüberbio AM 92-142 complies with the requirements for classification as an Environmentally Acceptable Lubricant (EAL) in terms of biodegradability, toxicity and bioaccumulation, as defined by the US Environmental Protection Agency for the "2013 Vessel General Permit" and contains > 60 % of renewable raw materials.
