List of banned substances

Substances, which have a high impact on humans and the environment, are classified by REACH as substances of very high concern. As a responsible manufacturer committed to sustainability, Klüber Lubrication goes the extra mile and opts for raw materials which even comply with the stringent requirements of the Freudenberg Group.

Substances of Very High Concern (SVHC) are chemical compounds showing properties which according to the REACH Regulation may have serious effects on human health and the environment. Such substances are subject to special approval and information requirements. Substances so far identified are recorded by the European Chemicals Agency (ECHA) in its SVHC list acc. to Article 59(1)  of the REACH Regulation. Moreover, the Community Rolling Action Plan (CoRAP) keeps and updates a list of substances with certain hazardous properties to be evaluated within three years.

Raw materials selected according to strict criteria

Our commitment to offering eco-compatible speciality lubricants goes far beyond that: We exclusively use raw materials which comply with the high safety standards defined by the Freudenberg Group to protect people and the environment. These safety criteria ban significantly more substances than stipulated by law.
