We have made the climate and the environment part of our corporate responsibility since the company was founded in 1929. As a company of the Freudenberg Group, we are also subscribers to the UN Global Compact, the world's largest global sustainability initiative for companies.
Besides resources-friendly production technologies, environmental protection and occupational safety, we also attach great importance to the sustainability effects of our products at the customer. This is illustrated by the following examples:
InterCement:
Find out how the use of our innovative lubricants leads to drastic improvements both ecologically and economically at the Brazilian company InterCement and has in fact by far exceeded all expectations.
Wind power:
Lubricants made by Klüber Lubrication also help wind turbine operators to increase their efficiency and reduce the strain on resources – without affecting the equipment's performance. This is how we contribute to an improved energy footprint also in terms of climate protection.
E-mobility:
For the transport of goods between our production site in Munich and our logistics center at Maisach, we will be using the green energy of electric vehicles and have upgraded our infrastructure accordingly.
Photovoltaic:
We fitted our production site in Mexico with a photovoltaic system 2,800 square metres in size, enabling us to save more than 200 tons of carbon dioxide per year.
