Klüber Lubrication uses activities and incentives to promote the ongoing exchange of its employees worldwide. Now it’s turn of Fernando Cardoso, an application engineer from Klüber Lubrication Brazil, who is going to spend six months at our headquarters in Munich, Germany.
The main objectives of this exchange are to bring innovation to Brazil, develop new ways of working and deepen Fernando’s technical knowledge. This opportunity also seeks to promote our offers for professional development of our employees. ”As the company is investing in me, I want to develop as much as possible in order to meet all expectations and to give something back”, says Fernando.
Many Klüber Lubrication employees would like to experience the work routine at other subsidiaries. This was also the case of Bruno Ascenço, an application engineer from Brazil. It was sharing his experience in Germany in 2012 that gave Fernando the idea of embracing the same opportunity.
Involving the Human Resources department in the process was essential to make the exchange possible. Klüber Lubrication has a comprehensive policy that includes a development plan to deepen technical knowledge by means of exchanges. “It extends one’s world view and is an opportunity to put one’s skills to use as well as to interact with different cultures and improve one’s ability to work in different environments”, says Adriana Sampaio, Human Resources Business Partner.
Every change presents challenges and adapting calls for patience. After all, Fernando Cardoso will experience immersion in another country. However, these challenges inspire him to push his own limits. For him, this experience means much more than simply discovering a new culture: “Klüber Lubrication Brazil can benefit from the technical knowledge I acquire, in terms of support to the sales team and our clients. Combined with value selling, this can bring in new business for the company”.
