As the service life progresses, an oil may show signs of ageing. In particular, components for extreme-pressure (EP) and anti-wear (AW) additives are re‑enriched to sustain the high protection of gears and bearings; the viscosity is increased to compensate for the slight viscosity drop of the used gear oil for continued reliable lubricant film formation; additional antioxidation additives slow down the ageing process; and the improved anti-foam behaviour can even exceed the performance of Klübersynth GEM 4-320 N to allow a problem-free operation of the gearbox.
The recommended service life of Klübersynth GEM 4-320 N can be extended by up to 50% after proper application of Klübertop GEM 4-320 Booster. This allows you e.g. to postpone a regular oil change for up to 2.5 years and thus effectively reduce maintenance costs. Through saved resources and reduced disposal costs, you can reach high sustainability.
