Munich, 12 September 2015 – It is especially for applications in the food industry with high humidity that Klüber Lubrication has developed Klüberfood NH1 C 8-80. Due to its special formulation, the semi-synthetic chain oil protects conveying systems and drive chains from deposit formation even under demanding conditions. Klüberfood NH1 C 8-80 reduces friction and wear on the chain. It therefore contributes significantly to reducing energy consumption and extending the service life of components.
"Klüberfood NH1 C 8-80 is distinguished by its good stability at high humidity and in acidic process environments where other oils may contribute to high residue formation," states Aldemir Oliveira, Global Market Manager Food Industry at Klüber Lubrication. "Such conditions can be found, among others, in bakery proofers and pasta dryer applications."
Klüberfood NH1 C 8-80 is NSF H1 registered and ISO 21469 certified. In applications where incidental contact with food products or packaging materials can not be excluded, the chain oil can therefore contribute to increasing process reliability.
