Tenter-Frame Lubrication Points and Applicable Specialty Lubricants
PETAMO GHY 443: A high-temperature and long-term grease for rolling bearings subject to high loads. The ester oil base and polyurea thickener are an improved alternative to mineral-oil-based products, achieving a longer service life to reduce maintenance costs. Use: Ideal for large rolling bearings because of high base oil viscosity and thermal stability.
Klübersynth BH 72: A high-temperature grease for slow-running bearings. A patented formulation contains ester as well as perfluorinated polyether (PFPE) oils and a polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) thickener to provide a longer service life than conventional ester-based greases. Good oil retention and thermal stability extend relubrication intervals even at high temperatures. Use: Roller bearings and guideways at low running speeds and with high permanent temperatures and high loads (max. 180°C at C/P <8).
BARRIERTA L 55 Greases: High-temperature greases for long-term lubrication. Based on perfluorinated polyether (PFPE) oil, this formulation combines long-term stability with thermal resistance. A low evaporation rate greatly extends grease life and relubrication intervals. Use: Initial and long-term lubrication for guides and bearings operating under extreme temperatures.
Klübersynth CFH 2-400: A low-residue oil for sliding chain systems in very high-speed biaxial film stretchers made by Brückner Maschinenbau. This ester-based formulation employs special additives to reduce residue adhesion, which increases machine availability by reducing the need for cleaning. Use: Conveyor chain sliding systems and pins in high-speed machinery running up to 450 m/min. and at oven temperatures above 200°C.
Klübersynth CHZ 2-225: A low-residue oil for sliding chain systems in biaxial film stretchers developed with Andritz-Biax. This ester-based formulation employs special additives and a trace amount of solvents to reduce residue adhesion, which facilitates adequate lubrication of friction points for months and years. It is highly miscible with other Klüber chain oils. Use: Sliding track chain systems and pins in high-speed machinery and at oven temperatures above 200°C.
Klübersynth CH 2-280: A low-residue oil for sliding chain systems in film stretchers made by Brückner Maschinenbau. This ester-based formulation employs special additives to reduce residue adhesion, which extends cleaning intervals and reduces operating costs. Use: Sliding track chain systems and pins running up to 400 m/min. and at oven temperatures above 200°C.

The polyglycol-based formulation includes KlüberComp Lube Technology utilizing high-grade raw materials and advanced additives. The result is a much longer service life than mineral oils and high micropitting resistance of GFT >10. Use: Protects gears against scuffing even at extremely high peak loads, vibrations or oscillations.

MOLYBKOMBIN UMF T4 Spray: An easy-to-apply, air-drying, black-bonded grease. This formulation is based on molybdenum disulfide (MoS2) along with an organic binder and an inflammable solvent mixture. The dry coating prevents adhesion of dirt to metal surfaces, which simplifies maintenance while ensuring precise, long-lasting low-torque width adjustment of threaded spindles. Use: Spray onto width adjustment spindles to reduce friction and wear.
