Klüber Lubrication, a worldwide manufacturer of specialty lubricants, will showcase its lubricant solutions for reducing stick-slip and eliminating cabin noise generated by vibration and friction in automobile interiors at booth #213 during the SAE 2017 Noise and Vibration Conference and Exhibition. The biennial conference serves as a forum for leading automotive, commercial vehicle, and aerospace professionals to share the latest technologies surrounding NVH/BSR and sound quality. The event will be held June 12-15 at the DeVos Place Convention Center in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
Klüberalfa MR 3 Series is specifically designed for friction points in automobiles where improved sliding and noise-dampening behavior are required. The invisible oil remains in the lube point for the life of the vehicle, and is chemically inert, so plastics, leathers, textiles and elastomers remain unaffected, decreasing the need for costly engineering changes.
Klüberalfa MR 3 BSR lubricants contain a nonflammable solvent that enables application of a thin, homogeneous lubricant film to all contact surfaces. The products can be used across a wide temperature range typically required in automotive applications. They are compatible with the majority of materials in automobile interiors, including rubber, leather, fabric and plastics, and also can be used in under hood and body applications.
Klübersynth RA 44-702 and RA 44-3502 mechanically dampen and reduce noise of slowly moving parts and are designed for the lubrication of plastic parts inside automobiles. These parts include mechanical switches and rotary controls, ventilation flaps, sun visors, ashtrays, cup holders, storage boxes, window lifter guide rails, armrest and seat adjustment mechanisms (vertical and horizontal) and sunroofs. Klübersynth RA 44-702 and RA 44-3502 are fully synthetic damping greases of high viscosity and are free of raw materials containing silicone. The products are preferably used for plastic/plastic and plastic/metal material pairings.
