Here we go:

A tour of our Munich headquarters is the ideal place to begin a tour of the world of tribology. While strolling through our facilities, you will see how raw materials are turned into highly specialized lubricants, how lubricant performance is put to the test under extreme conditions, and how our system of worldwide lubricants logistics is controlled and managed from the parent company. You will also learn how the lubricant finds its way into the container, and how the container finds the quickest and most direct way to the customer and right to the friction point.

Production

1. Raw materials testing

A product is only as good as its materials. This is why Klüber carefully inspects all raw materials before starting a new development project. To ensure consistent quality, the same stringent inspection process is used with raw materials used for ongoing production. Our raw material suppliers are reliable partners - we make sure by auditing them for compliance with specifications and their ability to supply.

2. Tanks warehouse
At Klüber, the production of lubricants is a smooth process. One of the reasons is our raw material warehouse, which allows us to keep large quantities of materials on hand for urgent customer production requests. We can then respond quickly and flexibly regardless of delivery times for raw materials.

3. Production
We turn raw materials into lubricants: base oils, thickeners and additives are used to manufacture more than 2000 different high-performance lubricants according to accurately defined process parameters. They are tailored to specific applications and manufactured with absolutely consistent quality - Klüber quality.

4. Finished product testing
Before a finished Klüber lubricant is released for use on your friction point, it undergoes the stringent analyses of Klüber Quality Assurance. If it's not top quality, we won't can it.

5. Filling and packing
Here lubricants are given their characteristic looks: Depending on the type of lubricant and customers' specifications, they are filled into the various yellow-and-black Klüber containers. We supply packaging small tubes up to drums or totes.
