Plastic, the new material for 5 l and 20 l canisters For many years tinplate canisters have been the standard packing units for most Klüber oils. With good reason: tinplate canisters are sturdy, easy to empty and do not affect the quality of oils. The only disadvantage: they are not immune to occasional denting during transport which may make empyting of canisters more difficult. Reason enough to look for improvement. In the future Klüber oils will be supplied in new 5 l and 20 l canisters made of HD-PE material which is highly resistant to oils and shocks. Completion of the step-by-step changeover is scheduled for 2008. Dented canisters caused by rough handling during transport or by impacts are no longer to be anticipated with the new plastic containers. At the same time, the new containers enable additional protective packing to be dispensed with throughout. The advantages for you:
