While the upper service temperature of high-temperature polyurea greases is limited to 200°C the new generation of polyurea greases achieves an upper service temperature of 220°C.
Thus the gap between the commercially available high-temperature polyurea greases and the perfluorinated greases has been bridged in terms of the maximum application temperatures.
Unlike the perfluorinated products almost any commercial additives can be dissolved in the base oil mixture of the new polyurea grease generation. For this reason, this product group can be tailored to suit extreme pressure, antiwear or corrosion protection requirements.
