Plastic, the new material for 5 l and 20 l canisters

For many years tinplate canisters have been the standard packing units for most Klüber oils.

With good reason: tinplate canisters are sturdy, easy to empty and do not affect the quality of oils. The only disadvantage: they are not immune to occasional denting during transport which may make empyting of canisters more difficult.

Reason enough to look for improvement.

In the future Klüber oils will be supplied in new 5 l and 20 l canisters made of HD-PE material which is highly resistant to oils and shocks. Completion of the step-by-step changeover is scheduled for 2008.

The advantages for you: Safe handling and pouring of Klüber oils, less hassle with dented tinplate containers.

The new canisters have been thoroughly checked for compatibility with the oils they contain. Also, they fulfil all the necessary UN approval criteria.

Bigger spouts is yet another feature which ensures quick emptying of canisters.

We have thus been taking another step forward to our goal of reducing the incidence of packing damage worldwide to zero.
