Klüberplex BEM 41-132: reliability in stormy weather The "Tauernwindpark" in Austria is at present the highest located aeolic park of Europe. It is situated in the Lower Tauern mountains in Western Styria at an altitude of 1,900 meters. It comprises 11 wind mills of Vestas V66 type with a rated output power of 1.75 MW each; with its total power output of 19.25 MW, the aeolic park yields 40,000 MWh of energy per year. Strong winds and extreme temperatures make this plant a demanding environment for the lubricants used. Klüber prevents machine elements from overheating under such difficult conditions and gives a new meaning to reliability. The operators of the Tauernwindpark have opted for Klüberplex BEM 41-132, a high-temperature and long-term grease for rolling bearings. Klüberplex BEM 41-132 offers good resistance to high temperatures also at high loads, good protection against wear and corrosion and ensures reliable operation and a long service life.
