Klüberfood NH1 94-402: everything for safe H1 lubrication

Where grains, meal or animal feed are processed (but not only there), technical contact of lubricated rolling bearings in machines with the food product cannot always be avoided. To ensure hygiencally safe H1 lubrication, a synthetic specialty lubricant is indispensable – if it is available with an ISO VG of approx. 400 and easy to pump, that's even better!

But the R&D engineers at Klüber wanted more: a good load-carrying capacity and optimum resistance to water so that the grease can also be used under the difficult operating conditions prevailing in pelletizers or conveyors.

The result of these efforts is Klüberfood NH1 94-402, an innovative product combining for the first time a highly refined base oil with a calcium-sulfonate complex soap thickener. It offers good flow characteristics and good lubricity, enabling longer bearing life, less machine downtime and good wear protection. It is approved as an NSF H1 lubricant, which means that it does not contain any harmful substances and may therefore be used by food-processing companies.
