Successful suppliers of castings tend to deepen their range of manufacture to offer their customers high-quality compononents. The first machining operation immediately after the casting process, for example, is mostly performed by them.

So who will provide the lubricant for these machining operations, like turning, milling or drilling? Klüber will, of course. "We have been using the machining fluid SUNIT 006 on our aluminium pressure diecastings successfully for many years", says a plant manager in a letter of reference. Automatic application by micro-metering equipment is possible, he says, and the product shows good lubricity, minimum residue formation and is neutral in terms of odor.
