BARRIERTA^® L55/2 for the food-processing and pharmaceutical industries

Good news for all those using BARRIERTA^® L 55/2, the high-temperature and long-term lubricant up to 260°C. For decades this proven special lubricant based on perfluorinated polyether (PTFE) has been successfully used for a large variety of applications such as bearings subject to high temperatures in the textile, packaging and food-processing industries. Now BARRIERTA^® L 55/2 even fulfils the requirements of FDA for food-grade lubricants and has been approved according to NSF H1.

As an H1 lubricant BARRIERTA^® L 55/2 can also be used for applications with incidental food contact, e.g. for automatic bakery ovens, stoves or conveyor chains.

Apart from BARRIERTA^® L 55/2 all the other products of the BARRIERTA^® L 55/2 series are NSF H1 registered. These white special greases are available in 4 penetration grades thus covering a large range of applications.

BARRIERTA^® is the oldest European premium brand for PFPE lubricants. BARRIERTA^® products are subject to continuous development and are one of the most widely used PFPE lubricants around the world.
