A reliable companion - The tried and tested Human Transporter is using the high-temperature gear oil Klübersynth GH 6-32 made by Klüber Lubrication

The Human Transporter (HT) combines mobility with lots of fun. A sophisticated design, consisting in a single-axle, electrically driven device, ensures that both the rider and the transporter keep their balance. With a weight of 38 kg this innovative machine runs at speeds of up to 20 km/h covering a range of 30 km on a single battery charge. The HT has been specifically designed for urban environments; acceleration and deceleration is done by shifting one's weight.

For riding the HT in Germany a license is needed. For this purpose a pilot project was launched in 2005 with the police authority of the city of Saarbrücken and the municipal office of Neunkirchen testing this new means of transport. The project was given support by the faculty of traffic engineering of the Technical University of Kaiserslautern, which was fully convinced of the HT and approved its inclusion in the road transport licensing regulations as an electronic vehicle. The scientists found out that the HT can be easily and intuitively handled by everybody from the age of 15. Only in exceptional situations inexperienced riders might overestimate themselves or the still unfamiliar machine. Now it is up to the German state authorities to make a decision, which could result in the HT being authorized for use on German roads.

The US inventor of this means of transport trusts in a lubricant from Bavaria: Klübersynth GH 6-32 by Klüber Lubrication is used in the drive of the HT.

This synthetic gear oil based on polyglycol ensures smooth running of the HT and an almost maintenance-free operation.
